Do you have
problems with your horse standing still to be mounted?
Does your horse like to argue? Bite? Kick? Strike?
Is your horse hard to load on a trailer?
Is your horse uncooperative?
Does your horse spook at everything under the sun?
(including the shadows!)
Does your horse avoid being touched in certain places?
If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, you horse
probably has a good reason for his/her behavior. Many
horses become resistant and unwilling to cooperate due to prior
unpleasant experiences throughout its life. Many horses
have learned various techniques of avoidance that can be used in
every situation imaginable, even those situations that you may
not even notice! With behavioral rehabilitation, you will
find that your horse, by nature, is a very willing animal.
Is you horse swaybacked or U-necked?
Did you know that these physical deformities are probably not
confirmation flaws, but rather caused by a combination of
improper riding, unnatural training techniques, and force?
Not only are these conditions unnatural and painful, but they
are potentially disabling both physically and mentally. A
healthy, well-conditioned horse can exceed a useful life of 30+
years. A mechanically or forcefully trained horse can be
physically disabled by the age of six. Your horse deserves
more.
